Learn How to Paint: Flower Edition w/ Joanna Goecke

To celebrate Dundee in Bloom, we’re hosting a special workshop led by local floral artist Joanna Goecke. Designed for all skill levels, this class invites participants to bring a pre-drawn floral outline (provided by Joanna) to life through paint, making it approachable, creative, and fun for everyone.
Each attendee will also take home an informational packet with tips on techniques, brushes, and a paint palette, so you can continue exploring your creativity long after the workshop ends.
Intro to Sewing Workshop

If you have a sewing machine that is collecting dust, this class is for you.
Join us for an Intro to Sewing class led by Nicole of Elsie’s Attic, designed specifically for beginners who want to feel more confident using their sewing machine. This hands-on workshop will cover the basics, from setting up your machine to simple stitching techniques, so you can start creating with ease.
Students are required to bring their own sewing machines to class.
Styling w/ Sami Hartong

Join us for Styling with Sami, a session focused on making trends work for your real life, not the other way around. Learn how to thoughtfully incorporate pieces you love into your everyday wardrobe in a way that feels authentic, wearable, and sustainable.
From sourcing and styling trend-forward items to building outfits that feel true to your personal style, Sami will also share how to refresh and recirculate pieces when you’re ready for something new. It’s all about creating a closet that evolves with you, not against you.
Sustainable Home Styling w/ Erika Hansen

Erika Hansen is a certified Redesign expert with over 20 years of experience helping people transform their homes using what they already own. Through a sustainable, budget-conscious approach, she explores why homes can feel “overstocked” (like a bad season at Forever 21), introduces the idea of a home capsule collection, and shares practical editing techniques, how to mix design eras, and the shift from decorating to true curation, helping create spaces that feel intentional, personal, and cohesive.

Get ready for the ultimate thrift shopping adventure with a twist! The Omaha Thrift Tour, hosted by Albany and Avers and Maddie Graham of Frugal Fox, is a half-day event packed with vintage treasures, secondhand gems, and good vibes. We’ll start with a welcome drink before boarding our party bus for 3–4 hours of guided thrifting through Omaha’s best local vintage and resale shops.
This year, we’re excited to deepen our partnership with Maddie Graham of Frugal Fox by bringing personal styling directly into the experience. As you shop, Maddie will be there to offer styling guidance, help you spot standout pieces, and support you in finding items that truly fit your style and body, making the day even more personalized and fun.
Expect a mix of long-time favorites, hidden gems, and community-loved stores, perfect for both seasoned thrifters and those new to the secondhand scene. This tour is more than a shopping trip, it’s a celebration of sustainable fashion, personal style, and the power of community.
